Default Non Vans and Aftermarket Options during or post build?

Is there a list of items made by others that can be put on an RV as alternative to Vans items,eg Andair selector, etc?
If not can we start one with a reveiw of item if someone has fitted it?

Default Van's fiber glass

I'm about to finish a RV9. Van makes a great airplane. I will likely build another, but I will not buy his fiber glass parts.

The tail intersection fairing was so bad that I almost had to completely reshape it and will likely replace it after I'm flying. I would have done a better job with clay building my own even as a first time builder.

I have really appreciated the James cowl and pants as well as their phlynum.

Fairings-etc makes some nice leg fairings.

Affordable panels does a great job as well.
