Default Antisplat Cowling Door question

Does anyone have a photo of exactly where they installed the door at on the cowling? I laid it up next to the cowling, not sure where to put it. The cowling seems to be more curved and the door flat. If I move it further aft and in board it seems better. I want to put it on the left side.

...Move it as you say, inboard as far as possible, and to the rear edge of the honeycomb sandwich in the cowl. Thanks, Allan..

Default Finally Got The Courage To Cut The Cowl

Finally got the courage to cut the cowl, because I had too with constantly limping along with high oil temps. I so glad I did, problem solved.
