ARTEX 345 ELT help

Does anyone know where to find the default setting for the GPS input for the Artex 345?

What setting does it come from the manufacturer as default?

• 4800 baud and will only accept NMEA
• 9600 baud and will only accept Aviation Protocol

Any help appreciated.

I just got one from ACS ... it says it comes programmed from the factory with 9600/Aviation protocol; The 4800/NMEA protocol needs to be programmed.

Just out of the box now; I have not been able to confirm this assertion.

Update: reprogramming costs ~$175 :-(
