Thumbs up Dual instruction/CFII Ed Wischmeyer

Just a note to all who responded to my classified post for a CFI with a qualifying plane(RV-6A,7A,9A) ... thank you, and thanks to VAF.

My insurance company required that I receive one hour of dual as a condition for issuing a policy.

Special thanks to Ed Wischmeyer in Savannah, GA for his fast response and offer to help, and overall generosity sharing his expertise. He promptly coordinated his insurance provider to authorize me to fly in his 9A and worked with me to get airborn on my only day possible without waiting another week or more before flying my new RV-8A.

Also, Ed was skilled at assessing my flying and personalizing his instruction going forward saving time, fuel, and making the transition smooth. It was fun and a pleasure to work with him.
