Tip: Mounting the wheels

Somebody had asked me about tips on mounting the RV wheels. Here are some of the lessons I learned when I did it:

Brian,

Thanks for the great pictures of your wheel mounting. I got out the drawing for this step today and found all the parts but was having a time trying to figure out where they went. Tomorrow I will take your pictures with me to the hangar and hopefully will be able to duplicate them. We are working on the front deck, mounting the wheels and tomorrow, our panel comes from Aerotronics. We are waiting on the weather to get warmer before we tackle the canopy. I don't know when we will be mounting the engine.

Just another tip:

Install the nutplates onto the wheelpant mounting brackets before you install
onto the axle as it's much more difficult if you try to do it later with the wheels
on etc. Ask me how i know
