Default plug wire Question

RV10, Stock FWF with 2 slick Mags.

I'm curious about the plug wires. Is there a reason they seem so flimsy, like they're made of cloth. I'm guessing these are somehow better in the harsh environment, but just by feel, I would never have guessed that.

Can anyone enlighten me?

That flimsiness is actually built-in flexibility that allows tight bends and prevents damage from engine vibration. In reality they are as robust as they need to be.
