Default Free altitude encoder - G5

Great info recently learned from some recent VAF posts. Just found out I can use my Garmin G5 as an altitude encoder simply by running an RS 232 line to the GTX 335 (haven't bought it yet).

Save money, real estate and make life easy- nicely done Garmin. Now if we could only update our own transponders........
