Default Commercial Single

Anyone know an instructor for hire that has access to complex in Tampa Bay Area or west coast of Florida? I only need a few hours and to pass a check ride. I am willing to travel if necessary.

The flight schools in Sarasota are less than desirable...

Slightly off topic....there has been talk of allowing commercial checkrides in non-retractable but 'technologically advanced' aircraft. Many RVs might qualify. But so far it's just talk.

I am looking to do my CPL as well. At least two schools here in Pinellas County have retractables, Tampa Bay Aviation, based at KCLW has a Piper Arrow III that rents for $175/hr. They also have a RedBird full motion simulator at KPIE that you may be able to log some time in towards the CPL. www.tampabayaviation.com

St Pete Air at KSPG (Albert Whitted) also rents an Arrow, $153/hr. www.stpeteair.org

Hope that helps. Please post or PM if you find any other options as I would be interested.

Chris
