Default Chasing black streaks

Have had black streaks where the top cowling fastens to the metal reinforcing piece. I have camlok fasteners. I determined that the vibrations of the engine are causing the problem and wonder if I should usd screws instead of the camloks. I don't know if I can get the camlok any tighter. Any suggestions?

What is the surface finish of the inside of the cowl like, where it lays on the metal that the cam locks are attached to?

If it is just bare fiberglass, that is abrasive like fine sand paper and will eat its way into the aluminum.

Finish sand and clean it, and then brush on a coat or two of epoxy resin to fill the glass weave and make it glossy smooth.

Default electrical tape or Teflon anti-chafe tape?

Maybe add some thin "gasket" material like electrical tape or, better yet, Teflon anti-chafe tape?
