PIREP on Cheetah Flight Pad

I have been using an iPad mini, running either Forefight or Garmin Pilot in my RV-8, in the Florida sun it is all but useless, impossible to see. I was wondering if the Cheetah's display is "Sun light readable" as the Mini is not. Not looking for an advertising endorsement, just wondering if anyone has used one in the RV environment?
