Default AW Certificate Question

-If you find a plane that states no aerobatics on the AWC, what are the steps to get that removed? Is it as simple as hiring a DAR, getting a new AWC and a new phase 1?

-What if the AWC has no restrictions but no aerobatics were performed during phase 1, what do I need to do to legally fly aerobatics?

Thank you,

First, read 'em carefully & be sure that the restriction is or isn't limited to phase one. If it's a permanent limit, you can get new oplims from the FSDO. You don't (or at least shouldn't) need a DAR for that. The more 'normal' oplims would basically say that you must test each maneuver in phase one & log them, prior to performing them in phase two.
