Where is the best place to buy a different throttle cable that is slightly longer to allow me the e tea to mount it for the 90 degree different from where it sits now?
Seems that this install is possibly a bit more work than I initially thought.

Todd,
Acft Spruce sells cables to order in any length, search aircraft engine controls.
I had an ETBI on both my RVX and my Sonerai (2180VW) Both worked very well and the Sonerai used a home-made airbox. The X used the Van's box with excellent results. It does however require a bit of mixture screw tweaking between seasons, otherwise a great TBI.
Be advised, yours having sat for 8 years may have dried the seals a bit, be wary of mixture issues when you get it going initially. If it persists, Ellison is very good about inspections and rebuild.
