Default home made tools

I made a modification of a rivet tool using the 1/2 thick plate, for back riveting) and the 3/8 thick plate that I saw in one of my vans articles. that said I will try to get a picture it show it off but has anyone else have any cool ideas to share. pics of mine coming soon. I'm thinking of making a oversize C-frame as well. you got something bring it. all I want to do is build and learn ...and fly

Default bead breaker

I got tired of begging the FBO to use their bead breaker so I built my own:

I like that. Hope you didn't break anything else. There's a red spot on the corner of the table!

Hey, I think I can repurpose my home-brew flange straighter tool to do the same thing! Reduce, reuse, recycle.

And, the FBO should be honored that you're using their mangy tool on a real aircraft.

One of mine...

- Mazda MPV brake slave piston, faced on a friend's lathe
- "Who knows" piston pin from my Dad's junk box
- Handfull of AA buckshot
- Epoxy

Result, the best back riveting buck I own...
