Default Spark plug wire question

Have read some of the threads about replacing the ends of spark plug wires. The nut that screws on to the spark plug on my RV(lyc o320) split and I want to know if I can fix the end or do I have to buy a complete single wire with the ends attached. I have no tools for ignition wire repair. Thanks

Yes you can replace just the nut by taking that end apart.

I'd ask at your EAA chapter. Our chapter has probably a half dozen a&p's. Odds are good that your chapter will have a few, and at least one will have a junk harness at work you could cannibalize. Should be a good source for 'how-to', as well.
