On Holiday Palm Springs CA

Hi All,
I am on holiday for a month in Palm Springs CA. I am from England where the weather is getting ugly right now. I fly a RV7 back home and I am building a RV4 fastback trying to make it go fast is the main goal hopefully for a series of airraces in Europe (www.airrace.pro). There was just the one race 2016 which I came third in the RV7 just can not keep up with the RV8s. I would love to meet anybody in the Palm Springs area who could take me up. Happy to share expenses. Also if there is anybody round here building an RV and would like to show me there plane and waste some time talking planes that would also be great.
