I wonder how things will work out with Vans QB factory in the Philippines now that they are severing ties with the USA? Hopefully things will settle out so the factory still builds Vans kits.

I am pretty certain the President was only talking about attempting to "sever" political associations and allegiances, not trade partnerships.

Interestingly, the Philippine government has gently walked back those statements in the last couple days; I'm guessing they didn't get the reception from China that they were hoping for after giving Mr Obama the middle finger.
