Default Aera 660 Bare Wire Connector

The optional bare wire connector from Garmin contains 9 wires & costs $65 plus shipping. Has anyone opened up the cradle/cable that comes in the box with the 660 unit to see if all 9 wires are there? Might be an option instead of buying the optional bare wire cradle/cable.

Probably not.
If I recall several members tried this with the Aera 550/560 and the earlier 396/496 cables. All of them found the cables missing a few needed wires and the colors were different. Search the forums I am sure you will see some results to this.
