Default New Garmin GPSMAP x95/96 replacement?

I see the Garmin GPSMAP 276Cx has been announced.
Form factor like a non aviation oriented GPSMAP x95/96 update.
I wonder if Garmin will release an aviation model?

They did, it's called the Aera 660.

Fits in the exact same size panel opening as the old GPSMAP 396/496. The 660 Airgizmo is a direct drop in replacement with no cutting or drilling.

It's awesome!

Another great option is the iFly740.

I considered both the iFly and the Garmin 660. The are comparably priced and are both great products. The iFly is a bit larger and has a iPad app that works exactly like the GPS itself. You can try it out for free before you buy. The customer service at iFly has been outstanding.

I replaced my Garmin 396/Airgizmo mount system with a simple aluminum plate and Richter mount from ProClip. The solution came out great and fits nicely in my panel.

Here's a few pictures of my set-up.
