Default Which Tires ?

It's time for new tires. I've read a lot of folks talk about the Desser retreads. Anyone have any experience between the Monster Retreads or the Elite Premium 2 Retreads? Both are in the same ballpark as far as pricing.

Default Monster retreads on my -6A

Installed them last fall --- about 60 hrs on them, no problems. I did have to "relieve" my wheel fairings a bit, to give some clearance.

There are quite a few of us at kdvt running the elite 2 groove and are very happy. It still might be necessary to open up the corners of the wheel pant, it seems that many premium tires are slightly larger and more squared off? Larry

+1 on the Monster. You do have to widen your wheel pants but they are rock solid and no comparison to the original kit-supplied tires.

Well I was thinking about 4... My current tires are only 2 years old but it's conditional time and time to rotate the tires anyway so I thought I might as well put some new rubber on it. So figuring I'll get the itch to change the tires every 2 years or 300 hours then a 4 ply should be fine.

thoughts? I can be persuaded

I used Wilkerson and was happy. I asked for retreaded flight custom II's and they accommodated.
