Default EGT Probes

Just a note. My Dynon probe clamps have shed two ends in 75 hours. One was laying in the bottom cowl, the other vanished....Wonder why they're breaking off?
Tempted to cut the other two off, and probably will.

Default Safety wire.

If these are the band screw type, you can safety them by placing a peace of .021 or .032 wire under the clamp, tighten the screw, then run the wire through the screw driver slot to keep it from turning from vibrations.
Hope this helps. Yours, R.E.A. III #80888

Vibration could be the cause. Has the prop been dynamically balanced?

Default Dynamic Balance

I just had this done due to vibration issues. Miraculously smoother. And if you don?t have a vibration issue, you will know that too. Not sure where you are in CA. I used JF Dynamics. Completely satisfied. http://www.jfdynamics.com/
