Cool Do RV-14's whistle?

So we all know that RV-9's whistle while they work . . . common wisedom is that it is produced by the horizontal stabilizer. Therefore, since the RV-14 has essentially the same tail group, I was wondering if they whistle as well?? Curious minds want to know

Mine did not whistle until I added the wheel pants and gear fairings. A little duct tape solved the mystery . It was the top main gear leg fairing next to the fuselage. With the seams taped the whistle is gone. It was very loud. Next project is to determine exactly where the whistle area is on that fairing. Maybe it's only one side.

I did a short flight in the Van's demonstrator (RV-14A) and didn't notice any whistle. But I wasn't really listening...
