Default Skybolt Install

I'm nearing the point of working on my cowling and have a few questions. I'm planning to use the Skybolt fastener system. I am trying to hold off closing up the front upper skin of my RV-8 until I have done avionics which I prefer to do last... changing technology and all.

Is it possible to get good cowling alignment of the skybolt flanges and cowling with the front upper skin just clecoed in place?

If any of you RV-8 builders happen to have pictures of a sky bolt install on your build log, I would love to see them also.

Thanks.

Default Yep! Not a problem....

Just remember to cleco in your cross brace in the baggage area. Go to my kit log and scroll down a little, you'll see what I did. Avionics arrived today.... Getting ready to start plumbing and wiring...... Should all button up nicely...
