Default Smoketown 2016 Fly-in - Saturday, August 13th.

This Saturday, August 13th, from 8am -3pm, Smoketown Airport (S37, just south of KLNS) in Pennsylvania is having their annual fly-in. I've been there for the past 3 years and it's always been a wonderful event. Great food and a great high quality t-shirt to all pilots that fly in!

Smoketown also has about the best photography I've seen of arriving and departing aircraft.

There's also a great paint shop on the field.

Aileron controls to rebuild, parts coming from the factory.

Package 2 of 2 showed today (Aluminum tubes in PVC tubes, how clever!).

Package 1 of 2 still in FedEx world.

Gonna be close, we shall see . . .

How was the turn out? Way too hot weather wise around here and I decided to stay where it was cool...in my house!

Very light, what with all the heat, according to a non RV buddy. My ailerons were still all askew, so I did not make it.
