Default My favorite grease

When installing the aileron bellcrank and brass bushing, the instructions say to lubricate the bushing "with your favorite grease" prior to final assembly.

Since I'm hoping that this will be the only time I assemble it, I'm trying to decide what my favorite grease is...

Any recommendations? What would be best for this application ... maybe something that would be useful elsewhere in the project (or elsewhere on the 170 ... ?)

Thanks!

Thomas

Smile AeroShell

Sounds like AeroShell 33 or 33MS might be the newest all-purpose airframe grease...

If you look in the Maintainance Manual for existing aircraft, you get old Mil-Specs since they were mostly written in the 70's...

Go with the new stuff....

I like Mobil 28, but there is also some Blue stuff, that works well. I can't remember what exactly it is, but I seem to remember that it was called Kendall Blue Grease.
