On the RV-12 (and most other RVs), the static ports are pulled rivets with the mandrel drilled out, and the back of the rivet is connected to the static lines inside the tail cone.
Look on the side of the tail cone and find the vertical rivet line for the first fuselage frame aft of the baggage compartment rear bulkhead. Directly below the horizontal row of rivets that attach the skin to the longeron, and just forward of the vertical rivet line for the fuselage frame, you’ll see a single rivet. That is the static port. There is a static port on each side of the fuselage.
