Default GRT mini X wiring question

Has anyone used the magnetometer serial port on a Mini X for another purpose? Such as traffic from Navworx? (pin 10 input)
Also, does your unit show enroute HITS with just a single waypoint destination?

All 3 serial ports on the Mini X are general purpose so they can be used for any application that the Mini-X supports.

The Enroute HITS works for internal direct to flight plans as well as Sequential mode flight plans. It also works for External flight plans as long as the leg has both a from and to waypoint. It does not work for single point external waypoints because the external GPS doesn't provide a path for us to display the flight path. We would have to generate a from waypoint but have chosen not to add that feature.
