Default Stewart Systems Ekopoly "heads up "

This is not a hit job on ekopoly, just FYI. Followed the instructions, not my first rodeo. Got great results and REALLY apreciated the water based convenience. BUT, Locktite 242 thread locker and No Alcohol mogas will strip the paint off. I see wrinkles around screw heads secured with 242 and along wing root fairings where mogas was spilled and wicked in a close clearance. Just FYI

Interesting. How long had the paint cured before coming into contact with the Loctite and mogas?

Default cured ?

At least three months. Some areas were finished 9 mo. and the same results occur . Hopefully Ekocrylic is different. I never had a problem with Stits Aerothane . The Ekopoly finish coat appears to be resistant to chemistry as you would expect. The wrinkles and lifting occur near edges of holes or sheetmetal edges. Perhaps the primer is the culprit, which could affect Ekocrylic as well ?
