Dinner on the Beach
40 min north of Minneapolis lies the one great beach for dinner, and you can walk there from your plane!
Cool temps and blue skies tugged at me all day long, so after work, I headed north to the largest of America's Great Lakes, Superior!

I love Minnesota in the summer. I checked out the area on Google Earth and I'll bet life on that isthmus gets really interesting in the winter!

Can't see the pics either - but if that's Sky Harbor, I hope that you stayed out of the foliage that edges the beach - it is the most virulent form of poison oak/ivy/something in existence! Louise and I discovered it after visiting a few years back, and a year later, we still found clothing with molecules of the stuff embedded that caused a rash....
I always loved the rows of floats parked without airplanes on them in the fall.
