I just drilled mine for a bolt but have been thinking about some sort of quick release pin. McMaster have them and they are about $20. There are 3/16" versions so it should be interchangeable with an AN3 bolt. The only thing was the bolt wasn't that easy to install so it may not be that easy to insert.

Default removal

Use one of these: Vailabele from Grainger. You have to buy 5. Sell the 3 or 4 you don't need to others here for $5 or so. Everyone gets a good deal.

Default Locking push pin

Way safer then those C clips. Short bead chain to keep the pin with the stick and not lost in the tunnel

Then covered with stick boot

Do you have a part # for those push pins, looking to use those on the canopy?

I don't, Bret. Left over from a sliding glass door security display. I'm sure it's still available at one of the better hardware stores. If not I would expect McMasterCarr to stock them.
