Default Andair Fuel Extension questions

I'm considering going to an Andair fuel selector valve on my acro airplane and will need a remote handle mount. The room on the instrument panel is very limited, so the only place I could mount this remote selector faceplate is in a 2 1/4" instrument hole. I wonder if anyone has done this or if it looks like this would work? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Andair do have selector extensions available. You choose them when you select the valves on their website.
