Default Metal tape on cylinders?

I have read of people using metal tape on the front cylinders instead of the air dams provided by the factory.

Can anyone recommend a brand name and source for this tape?

Thanks

I think it's the HVAC foil tape you'd find at Lowes or HD.

3M brand foil tape, readily available at either Lowes or Home Home Depot. Check both the tape section and the HVAC section. I think I found it in the latter.

Default Thanks for the advice

I wasn't sure if the tape glue would hold to hot cylinder heads. I will give it a try.

Yes, it will stick just fine. It has never come off or loosened until I've tried pulling it off.
