Default ADS-B/Transponder RV-8

I will try and see if this gets me a response picture etc.

I am pitting a Transponder Antenna on the belly of my 8. I would like to locate it grind the rear bulkhead where the static ports are usually Located just forward. on the floor. there is planet of ground plane there but I just wonder about ground clearance. I should have about 10 inches below the antenna I am using , Its one of those small shark fin types.

1. Has anyone else done this.

2. does anyone think I will have a clearance issue. Particularly on grass.

I have seen at least one there Christler from Stien air has his there and has no issues with it, but I see he is not using a stock Van's tailwheel.

Thanks

My RV-8 has two COMM antennas on the belly just aft of the forward spar; the transponder antenna on the belly under the back of the pilot seat; and my ADSB-IN antenna on the belly just aft of the rear baggage area wall.
