Default Crater Lake fly by



Took this snapshot of Crater Lake last weekend flying from KLHM to KBND. What a beautiful view.

Yep, it really does look like a fake picture in real life. We flew out there and stayed at the lodge for a couple of days. Well worth it. So much to go do in an RV!

I flew over the lake in November of 2011 delivering the RV 7A to Jerry Cockran. The water level then was higher and area covered was much snow.
As I recall the water level was much higher.
Unfortunately I do not have a picture of that crossing which was late in day.
Great picture of a remarkable area.
