If you move a RV into NM, do you pay use tax or just the yearly registration fee?
I do not see where NM has personal property taxes on private aircraft, is that correct?

Correct, just the yearly registration needs to be payed.
$10 per 1000 pounds gross weight, send my $15.50 for the RV-4 each year.
After paying use tax in CO and CA I just smile.

And...if your late with your payment the penalty is 10%.
But don't tell too many people or they may raise the tax.
