Default Transponder far aft mounting
Has anyone with a tail dragger mounted the the transponder antenna in the second by behind the battery tray area on an 8 or 7. Fro reasons that are in my previous thread about Transponder antennas I am trying to get 3 feet from the 23ES remote mount Garmin. I can go further aft. Ground clearance is not a problem just wondered if it was ever done and how it looks .
