Default F-635 Bellcrank question

Just assembled the F-635 bellcrank on my 9A. Installed it with the spacers and appropriate hardware. In the plans it states the it should be a snug fit, which it is, and no play side to side. I seem to have some play in the bearing itself, not much, maybe less then and eighth when you hold it by the longer end and move to the side. Is this normal or should the bearing be rigid?

I just wiggled my bellcrank and it seems to be about the same. I have the stick to bellcrank push rod installed but not the bellcrank to elevator push rod.

Anyone else out with this? I'd hate to think that MDoyle and myself are the only ones that may have bad bearings?

I installed my bellcrank last week. Same as yours, a little play in the bearing if loaded sideways. I think this is normal and I didn't give it a second thought.

Answer from Ken Scott,

"We'd like to get any play out of the bellcrank bearing, but a small
amount probably won't hurt anything. We can't see it or feel it, so I
guess it's up to you...it might be a good thing to connect the entire
elevator system and see how it feels as a "unit'.

I hate the word "probably". Still curious if anyone else has experienced this.
