Default Fuel Tank Spanwise -8 dimple cracks

Hi all,
i've recently had issues with my fuel tank final fitment so it has been on and off a few times, and the corner screws took a bit of "encouragement" to get in,
it seems that this has put pressure on the outboard spanwise screwholes causing cracking in the two outboard most lower holes and the upper outboard most hole, i have emailed vans a few days ago but i figure they are busy at the moment, has anyone else had this or know of a fix??,
i was figuring i'd remove the damaged material and make a doubler to spread the load but with the experience here i figured there might be better ideas.

cheers
