MT Prop Problems
We have an MT metal 2-blade C/S on our RV8A, IO-360. The hub started leaking oil/grease at 165 hours & was sent back to American Prop in Redding. It was resealed and began leaking again after 135 hours of use and was recently sent again to American Prop for a fix ($2,100 quote!!). We are talking with MT props in Germany to ascertain what they will do for us. So far American and MT both have not been helping. Meanwhile the RV sits in my hangar. We would like to contact anyone else out there with similar MT prop problems. Thanks
