Default RV-9 fuel tank question
In my right tank my float is hitting the stiffener when it comes down. I'm sure by looking at the plans I am putting it together right. Am I nuts or what is the remedy for this? Did other 9 builders have this issue?

Remove the float and snap it onto the wire in the opposite direction?

Is the stiffener installed with the flange facing the correct direction?

Stiffeners are right, that was the first thing I checked. I ended up just bending the wire slightly and am getting a reading of 30 and 240 on the meter. Just like says in the manual so I should be good then, right?
