Default Wingtip reinforcement

I'm installing the Archer antenna in the wing tip and the only thing I see in the installation info says not to run the wires across the antenna. I have seen several pics of others that have used foam/fiberglass reinforcement in the wing tips but no pics with the Archer antenna installation. Question is will it cause interference reinforcing the tip around the antenna?

Foam and fiberglass reinforcement won't cause problems with the antenna. Is it being used as a comm antenna?

If so, don't expect much from it.

If you go to the opening page of VAF and look to the left there is an index of information. Got to Articles and click on it. Scroll down to the article call "Tips for Tips." This will give a good guide.

The last one discussed reinforcements and has photos including the Archer antenna.
