Default Tip: Save the cards

Everybody seems to dread the glass work. To make it easier you need the right tools. One of them is squeegees. Here are a couple of tips to get you all the squeegees you will need.

1) When you get all those Credit Card offers in the mail, open them and save the fake plastic (or stiff cardboard) card. I get about 3 of these a week and have a small box full. Real handy.

2) When I travel I always save the credit card style room keys for the same purpose.

I can vouch for this technique, especially on the canopy. I've been using expired AOPA and EAA cards -- they are a little more flexible than real credit cards but they do have some stiffness in them. And since they're not embossed, cleanup is just a quick wipe-down.
