Default long 'L'- shape

mine have about 3" L ends, and a hole drilled in the lower cowl plate...the 'spring' is enough to keep them in this hole, and you can still push them up and out, when removing. ( looking for a pic sorry)
even without a dedicated hole, the long L will hit something, well before it can back out very far!
