Default A&P/ builder near Sacramento?

Hey guys. Any recommendations on an A&P near the Sacramento area to do a pre-buy?

I'm scheduled to look at a plane in the area on Friday. Thanks!

Randy Thorne in Ione CA would be my choice. He got me involved in RVs over 26-years ago.

Thanks for all the input, guys.

The deal didn't go through. My A&P didn't even need to do the inspection. Even on gross inspection, it was not a very good build. I did not want a plane like that, so he did not even need to do the inspection. He agreed with my decision.

The seller was a super nice guy though. And he had a beautiful house up in the mountains 500ft from his hangar on a private runway. What a great place to live for an aviation enthusiast!

Getting in and out of that place can be tricky though! (Alta Sierra 09CL)

So I'm still looking for a good RV-4 or 6. Don't need anything fancy. Very basic with steam gauges is ok, but the build quality has to be good and it has to be in fairly good condition with low to mid time AF/E.
