The Sky Polaris flight of Michel Gordillo (Madrid, Spain) is on it's second leg. Michel and his highly modified RV-8 are now in Dakar, Senegal ready to fly non-stop across the Atlantic Ocean to land in Natal, Brazil. This is 1800 miles, 3010 kilometers of hand-flying this aircraft across blue water with slim chance of rescue should he ditch.
