Default How much time does it take to install a Bendix magneto?

Assuming someone knows what they are doing and they have the correct tools?

(Not including timing them). Just trying to get a rough idea.

Thx
Gary

Timing is part of installation but 1 hour for both is typical, assuming plug wires are already present, along with all other wiring.

If the cowl is off and all you are doing is installing and timing figure an Hour . Removing and installing cowls could take an hour .

Default Yep

It took about an hour, including timing.

I'm sure glad I didn't try this myself. It's one of those things that looks and sounds so easy, but getting it exactly right takes experience and a perfectionist attitude.
