Default Fuel pump reversable?

Will the facet (or another) fuel pump push fuel in the opposite direction if the polarity is reversed on the power input wires?

The Facet uses a plunger and a set of check valves to move fuel---so it's fundamentally a one-direction design.

Take a look at pumps that use a spinning/rotary vane mechanism and don't use internal check valves. Those would be the best candidates for bi-directional operation.
