Default ADS-b setup

Received my Navworx Ads-b receiver. Have a question about the wi-fi communication. Do I download the UAT Console software and the Configuation Manual to my iPad and then use the cellular date to communicate with the ADS-B unit? There is wi-fi to the FBO but I don't think I can access it.

just download the UAT console onto your pad or wi fi capable laptop. Then power up the Navworx and laptop or pad and allow the device to communicate to the laptop via the wifi. The on screen info is fairly clear even if you haven t read the set up manual, good luck. Mine worked without any problems.

You need a computer or tablet running Windows and run the UAT Console. They don't have an iPad app yet

Your Windows laptop would then connect to the wifi from the Navworx UAT.
The wifi is called NavworxAP. Then you launch the console app to configure the unit.
You do not have to connect to the FBO wifi.
