Default Converting a LIO360's rotation?

Hi Guys,

We have two LIO-360's laying around the shop that I have been thinking about converting to RH (standard) rotation. Anybody done this before or know what would be needed? Looking at the parts catalogue I note a few differences, notable the cam as well as the crankshaft and Mags. We need to rebuild the engines anyway...

Regards
Dennis

Great question since these engines seem to demand less $$$ on Barnstormers.

Maybe the Lycoming group on Yahoo could help?

Don't forget to obtain the correct flywheel with marking for the direction you want it to run.

A neighbor assembled an O-360 from parts and accidently got a "L" flywheel - had a heck of a problem timing the mags...
