Default PMag magneto gear install question...
I'm installing the magneto gear on my new pmag. The instructions say to use one or two washers. One of the washers has rubber lining on the inside of the washer. I assume this one goes against the gear and that you use the second washer if needed.

What is the purpose of the rubber lined washer?
