Default Titan IO 370 in a RV-8.... Baffling question ??

We are trying to baffle a Titan IO370 in a new RV8 with a standard Vans Cowl. My friend has the IO360 baffle kit from Vans but it really doesn't look like it is going to work. The sides don't appear to fit the cylinder bolt patterns and that throws everything else off. These are the cylinders that come set up for auto plugs.

Just wondering if anyone could comment on baffling a T370 in an 8? What baffle package did you order....how much did you have to improvise? Specific issues ??

Thanks Bill

We've baffled numerous 370 Titans with standard baffle kits. No mods necessary.

Is there a chance you've got the baffle kit for the angle valve IO-360 and are trying to fit it to a parallel valve engine?

Exclamation

It looks like it needs the standard O-360 baffle kit, not the Vans IO-360 kit which fits the funny shaped rocker box covers.

Default Probably have the wrong kit ...

Yup, looks like the wrong kit. Will check for sure tonight but that is what it's looking like.

Thanks Bill
